0. “Slow & Steady” Action Checklist.

Here is your “Slow & Steady” Action Checklist.

You have a lot of text saved now, which is wonderful, but it can also feel heavy. The trick is: Do not try to build the whole website in one day.

Treat this project like a garden. You just need to plant one seed at a time.

Day 1: The Foundation (15 Minutes)

  • Goal: Secure the name.

  • Action: Go to your domain registrar (like GoDaddy or Namecheap) and buy GentleSelfTalk.com.

  • Action: Log into your Podia account.

  • Action: In Podia settings, look for “Custom Domain” and follow the instructions to connect your new domain to Podia. (This usually takes 24 hours to “propagate” or start working, so do this first and then walk away).

Day 2: The “One-Page” Start (30 Minutes)

  • Goal: Make the site exist.

  • Action: Don’t worry about the About page, the Course page, or the Science page yet. Just build the Home Page.

  • Action: Copy the “Hero Section” text from your saved document (“Find Peace in Your Own Voice”) and paste it into the top section of your Podia site editor.

  • Action: Hit “Publish.” Now you are live! It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be real.

Day 3: The Voice (20 Minutes)

  • Goal: Create your “Free Gift.”

  • Action: Open the “Voice Memos” app on your phone.

  • Action: Find a quiet room (closets work great for sound!).

  • Action: Read the “Hand-on-Heart Check-In” script slowly.

  • Action: Save the file and email it to yourself so it’s on your computer.

Day 4: The Connection (45 Minutes)

  • Goal: Set up the “Welcome.”

  • Action: In Podia (under “Email” or “Campaigns”), create a new automation.

  • Action: Copy/Paste the 3 Welcome Emails we wrote.

  • Action: Set the trigger to: “When someone subscribes to newsletter.”

Day 5: The Expansion (As long as you like)

  • Goal: Add the other rooms to the house.

  • Action: Now that the front door (Home) is open, you can slowly add the About page, the Free Tools page (upload your audio there), and the Why It Works page. Do one page a week. There is no rush.

A Gentle Reminder for You

“Done is better than perfect.”

Your website does not need to be a masterpiece of design on day one. The text you have is powerful. It speaks directly to the heart. Even if your website is just white background and black text, it will help people.

Next Step: I am here whenever you are ready to start Day 1. Just say “I bought the domain” and we can move to the next step.

(Don’t forget to save this checklist to your document too!)
